Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you and Bulletpoint SHPK for your use of Chronico.
Version 1.0 · Last updated 23 September 2026
This agreement
These Terms & Conditions are a binding agreement between you and Bulletpoint SHPK (company number [NIPT]), of Rr. Ishull Shëngjin, Nr. Ap. 7, Shëngjin, Lezhë, Albania— “we”, “us”. They govern your use of the Chronico mobile app and any related services.
By creating an account, ticking the agreement box, or using Chronico, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement and explains what we do with your information.
Chronico is not a medical device
Read this section carefully
Chronico is a tool for organising and recording information about your health. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and nothing in it is a substitute for professional medical advice from a qualified clinician who knows you.
- •Never change a medication or a dose because of something the app said. Dose changes come from your prescriber, and only from them.
- •Readings shown in the app are not diagnostic. Data from consumer wearables in particular is not clinical-grade and should not be used to make treatment decisions.
- •Reminders can fail. Notifications depend on your phone, its battery settings, its network, and the operating system. Do not rely on Chronico as your only way of remembering a critical medication.
- •Missing data is not evidence of anything. A gap in your record may simply mean a sync failed.
Always speak to your doctor, pharmacist or another qualified healthcare professional about your condition and your treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read in this app.
Emergencies
Chronico is not an emergency service and is not monitored by clinicians in real time. No one is watching your readings as they arrive.
If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to your nearest emergency department immediately. Do not use the app, and do not use the AI assistant, to seek help in an emergency.
Eligibility and your account
- •You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account.
- •You must give accurate information when registering, and keep it up to date.
- •You are responsible for keeping your password secret, and for everything done through your account.
- •Tell us promptly at support@chronico.app if you think someone else has access to your account.
- •Accounts are personal. Do not share one with another person — in a health record, knowing whose reading is whose matters.
If you register as a doctor or caretaker, you confirm you are entitled to act in that capacity, and that you will handle the patient information you are given lawfully and in line with any professional obligations you have.
The AI assistant
Chronico includes an AI assistant. It is there to help you understand your condition in general terms, to give everyday lifestyle guidance, and to help you use the app.
- •It is software, not a clinician, and it can be wrong.
- •It will not diagnose you, and it will not tell you to change a dose.
- •Its answers are general guidance, not personal medical advice.
- •Do not use it in an emergency.
To answer, the assistant is given a summary of your record — including readings from a connected device — and that summary is sent to an external AI provider. This is explained in the Privacy Policy. If you are not comfortable with it, do not use the assistant; the rest of the app works without it.
Connected watches and health apps
You can connect Chronico to the health store on your phone — Health Connect on Android, Apple Health on iOS — so readings from a smartwatch or tracker appear automatically.
What we control, and what we do not
- •Chronico readsfrom your phone's health store. It never connects to your watch directly, never controls it, and never writes anything back to your watch or to Apple Health or Health Connect.
- •Samsung Health, Health Connect, Apple Health, and your watch's own software are third-party products we do not control. Their accuracy, availability, and the timing of what they share with us are their responsibility, not ours, and are governed by their own terms.
- •Consumer wearables are not clinical instruments. Heart rate, oxygen saturation, sleep staging and step counts from them are estimates, and can be materially wrong.
- •Data can arrive late or not at all — commonly because the watch has not synced to its companion app, or because that app is not sharing with Health Connect. An absent reading does not mean an absent event.
Your permissions
You decide which measurements to share, and you can change or revoke that at any time in Health Connect or Apple Health, or by disconnecting in the app. Doing so stops further reading immediately. Readings already synced stay in your record unless you delete them — see the Privacy Policy.
If you do not grant historical access on Android, we can only read data recorded after you connected. That is a limitation of the platform and cannot be undone retroactively.
Your responsibilities
- •Enter your medications, doses and readings accurately. The app records what you tell it.
- •Keep taking your medication as prescribed, whatever the app shows.
- •Check anything that looks wrong with your clinician rather than acting on it.
- •Keep your phone's operating system and the app reasonably up to date, so reminders and syncing keep working.
- •Only link doctors and caretakers you actually want to see your health record.
Doctors and caretakers
A patient can link doctors and caretakers to their account. Doing so gives that person access to the patient's record — readings, adherence, device data — and lets a doctor leave notes.
- •Linking is the patient's decision, and the patient can remove a link at any time, which ends that access.
- •A doctor or caretaker may only access records of patients they are actually linked to.
- •Doctors and caretakers must keep what they see confidential and use it only to care for that patient.
- •Being linked in the app does not create a doctor–patient relationship, and does not put a clinician under any duty to monitor a patient's data.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- •Use the app for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaches anyone's rights.
- •Try to access another person's record, or any part of the service you are not authorised to reach.
- •Attempt to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service.
- •Scrape or bulk-extract data from the service.
- •Upload anything harmful, or content you have no right to share.
- •Impersonate a clinician, or misrepresent who you are.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Chronico available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice of a material change where we can. Maintenance, third-party outages and app-store review timelines can all affect availability.
Intellectual property
Chronico, its software, design and content belong to Bulletpoint SHPK or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of it.
Your data stays yours. The health information you enter, and the readings synced from your device, belong to you. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
App Store and Google Play terms
Where you obtained Chronico from the Apple App Store, the following applies and prevails over anything inconsistent above:
- •This agreement is between you and Bulletpoint SHPK only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
- •Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- •If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- •Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory non-compliance, or consumer protection claims.
- •Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending or resolving any third-party intellectual property claim relating to the app.
- •You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and are not on any US Government restricted-parties list.
- •Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.
Where you obtained the app from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chronicois provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data synced from a third-party health platform will be accurate, complete or timely.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all the statutory rights your local law gives you.
Limitation of liability
Subject to the paragraph above, to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for:
- •Any decision you or anyone else makes about treatment based on information in the app.
- •A reminder that did not arrive, arrived late, or was dismissed.
- •Data that a third-party health platform did not supply, supplied late, or supplied incorrectly.
- •Indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profits, revenue, or data.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability arising out of this agreement is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or [TODO: a stated cap, e.g. EUR 100].
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or — if you are a doctor or caretaker — your handling of a patient's information.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Chronico and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we withdraw the service — with notice where it is practical to give it.
On termination your licence ends and your data is handled as set out in the Privacy Policy. Export anything you want to keep before you delete your account.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Albania, and the courts of Lezhë, Albania have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, or of the right to bring proceedings there.
Please contact us at support@chronico.app first — most problems are quicker to resolve that way.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always at this address, with the date at the top. For a material change we will notify you in the app and, where the law requires it, ask you to accept the new version before continuing. Carrying on using the app after a change means you accept it.
