Delete your account

Ask us to erase your Chronico account and everything in it. You do not need the app, and you do not need to be able to sign in.

Request deletion

Nothing is deleted straight away

A web form can't prove who is filling it in, so we send a confirmation link to the email address on the account. Nothing is deleted until you click it — that is what stops someone else erasing your medical history by typing your address here.

The link lasts 24 hours. If it expires, just fill this in again.

Use the address on the Chronico account you want deleted. We can only match a request to an account by its email.

Optional

Optional — you don't have to give a reason for deleting your account.

For privacy reasons we give the same answer whether or not an account exists at the address you enter. That stops this page being used to find out who has an account.

Deleting from inside the app

If you can still sign in, deleting from the app is faster and needs no confirmation email:

  • •Open Chronico → Settings → Account → Delete account.

This page exists for when that isn't possible — you've uninstalled the app, changed phone, or can't get back into your account.

What is deleted

Everything tied to your account is erased:

  • •Your profile, contact details and login credentials.
  • •Your medication reminders, their schedules and your full adherence history.
  • •Every reading you recorded by hand.
  • •Every reading synced from a smartwatch or your phone's health app — heart rate, steps, sleep, blood pressure, glucose and the rest.
  • •Your device connections and the diagnostic logs from syncing them.
  • •Your conversations with the AI assistant.
  • •Notifications, invitations and treatment tracking entries.
  • •The links between you and any doctors or caretakers, on both sides.
  • •Any other support requests you have sent us.

Deleting your Chronico account does not delete anything from Apple Health, Health Connect or Samsung Health. That data is on your phone and stays yours — you can remove it in those apps.

What is kept, and why

We keep a record of the deletion request itself. It is the evidence that you asked and that we carried it out, which we need if anyone later asks whether the request was honoured. Your name and anything you wrote in the form are blanked from it.

What remains on that record:

  • •The email address the request was made from, and its reference number.
  • •The topic, the device you told us about, and the dates it was filed, confirmed and carried out.
  • •Which administrator carried it out.
  • •A count of how many rows were removed from each part of the system.

Backups are purged on a 35-day rolling cycle, after which no copy of your data remains in them either.

How long it takes

Once you confirm by email, a member of staff carries the deletion out. We complete it within 30 days, and you get a final email when it is done.

If you have questions, or you cannot access the email address on your account, write to privacy@chronico.app and we will verify you another way.
